AO ORL Society
Asia Oceania Association of Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society
This Asia Oceania Otorhinolaryngological Head and Neck Surgery Congress (AO ORL HNS) is held every four years within the Asia Oceania region.
This will be the 16th congress of the Asia Oceania Association, with the most recent meeting held in Brisbane in March 2023.
Asia Oceania Association of Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society was founded in 1965 in order to bring together the Ear-Nose & Throat specialists in the region to meet and to exchange our experiences, knowledge and learn more from each other.
The first congress started in Manila in the year 1967 and then held congress held every 4 years moving from one country to another according to the majority votes for the place to meet.
On behalf of the Japanese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, we are delighted and honored to invite you to the 16th Asia Oceania Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Congress (AO-ORL) to be held in Kyoto, Japan from March 23rd to 26th, 2027. All of you are most welcome to Kyoto.
The AO-ORL Congress is one of the largest conferences in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, held every four years, and it is our great pleasure and honor to host it in Japan for the first time. Kyoto is the most traditional and beautiful city in Japan with a long history as the former capital of Japan. As Kyoto has a wealth of cultural spots, temples and shrines, sacred mountains and rivers, Kyoto is the top city for travelers from around the world. We expect that the whole city of Kyoto will be adorned with full cherry blossoms in late March.
We expect more than 2,000 participants from over 30 countries across the Asia Oceania region. The theme is innovation in ORL-HNS including clinical and research developments. We also address the impact of an aging society on ORL-HNS as well as anti-aging strategies, because aging is a significant global issue. Every field related to ORL-HNS will be covered and discussed. This is a valuable opportunity to exchange the most recent information in each country and to foster strong relationships in Asia Oceania.
We sincerely look forward to seeing all of you soon in Kyoto, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
